We are thrilled to introduce the Performance Putting Studio, a state-of-the-art facility that opened its doors in April 2023 at The Wilmslow Golf Club. As an exciting addition to our developing facilities, the Performance Putting Studio provides the perfect environment to refine your putting technique and elevate your performance on the course.

Conveniently located near the Professional shop and practice putting greens, our studio offers a controlled setting where you can focus on your skills and then seamlessly transition them to the course. The room is equipped with a luxury tour specification Wellputt surface, ensuring an exceptional putting experience. Additionally, we have incorporated the latest training aids and loft & lie equipment for personalised putter customisation and enhanced performance.

David Ames:

With over three years of experience as our 'resident' putting guru at The Wilmslow Golf Club, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. As a Golf Federation of France national team coach, he has worked with players of all abilities, including tour professionals, county teams, and amateur golfers. David is available approximately 8 days per calendar month, and bookings can be made through The Professional Shop. As a qualified PGA professional with two decades of teaching experience, David has coached at every level, from amateur internationals to professionals competing on prestigious tours such as the European Tour, PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Challenge Tour, EuroPro Tour, and Ladies European Tour.
